I am not an enormous AFI fan. I know enough people who are, however so this poster was an easy clincher. Interestingly, the drawing started out as a piece for Billy Talent, who were to perform the day preceding AFI at the Basement and the image was originally inspired by their song "River Below." However, I came to think that this felt more like "The Art Of Drowning," (AFI album) and changed the design and colored it neon to reflect my interpretation of the AFI's pop-alt sound. I like the result.
