First new gig poster in a long time. What follows are a few process pics of the work's creation from drawing to digital final, plus shots of the printmaking process. The person pictured is Oliver Ackermann, lead singer and guitarist of the three-piece A Place To Bury Strangers, who are famed for their unique focus on massive volume, post-punk song structures and heavy shoegazing tendencies. The image is meant to seem ominously stylish, with an emphasis dark, crowded atmosphere and scathing, blistering sound-waves. Have a listen while checking out the shots that follow.
