Frequently-Asked Questions
Commerce
-
This store uses a Stripe checkout system, which accepts credit cards. Alternately, we can arrange for purchases over Paypal.
-
All transactions are in $USD / American dollars.
-
Squarespace does not allow for multiple currencies. The prices of the artwork and corresponding currency are what the market is used to, so that is what I charge. As of this writing, the Canadian dollar is not as highly valued as the American one, so if I were to charge in Canadian, prices would be marked up to match. For better or worse, the majority of my customer base (as well as clientele and suppliers) are American, so it's more practical for me to charge American dollars.
-
If you're purchasing from an Canadian mailing address, yes (13%). I'm required by law to turn in taxes for recipient addresses in Canada, or face losing that money myself on each transaction come tax season.
-
Depending on the case (and my schedule), I may send an email inquiry to see if there was some kind of mistake. Or I may just refund your order and ignore any of your follow-up emails. Neither are particularly efficient or positive, so please don't make me choose. Just respect the rules so the work gets to you promptly and I can focus on making more of it.
-
We do try to combine orders during big drops and refund the difference where possible.
-
The courier I use automatically generates tracking numbers for orders to the United States. For Canadian orders and International orders, tracking info is not provided unless specifically requested (an extra $10 for Canada or an extra $15 for International).
Customer Service
-
Due to the high number of orders that we process during print releases we can not accept print number requests, including AP requests. All customers will be served equally and prints will be dispersed in numerical sequence.
-
Currently no. My inventory is not located with me physically in Toronto and fulfillment is taken care of remotely, so it's often a hassle.
-
All posters are shipped in thick poster tubes and wrapped in Kraft Packing Paper for protection. Great care is taken to make sure every purchase arrives at its destination safe and sound.
-
It is difficult to predict exact international delivery times due to customs regulations and delays in the individual countries. Please allow for up to a week for North American orders and two to three weeks for International orders from the next drop date (every Wednesday).
-
All posters will appear slightly different than the online preview. Screen-printing is an imperfect science, so minor flaws of mis-registration and distribution or coloration of ink may appear because each poster was both designed and printed by the artist. Flaws and details make these prints unique works of art and are a beloved stylistic convention of the medium.
-
If your package is returned, it will be sent back to you at your corrected address once shipping payment is received again. If it isn't returned, please get in touch with whoever currently lives there and see if they can forward it to you.
-
If an item is damaged in transit, please send a photo of the defective item and resend your original email invoice to claim a replacement or work of equal value. Your purchase will be resent once shipping payment is received.
-
Orders are usually shipped out once a week each Wednesday / every fifth business day.
Drop / Releases
-
I always sell AP (artist proof) prints on this site via the Shop tab. I typically sell editions as soon as I am able, which means shortly after they are delivered to me. I do not control this, but I always send a newsletter out and post on my socials about new releases so people know when something new is dropping in the shop. Best way to stay on top of this is to join the mailing list on this website or follow me on your social of choice. Thanks!
-
I always advise folks to join the mailing list (sign-up links are at the bottom of every page on this website), create an account so you can save your payment info (third item on the top menu bar), and be on the shop page close to the drop time so you’re ready to refresh and snap your purchase(s) up. Most of the prints I sell are limited editions and available on a first-come-first serve basis so purchase isn’t guaranteed, but those tips will definitely give you a bit of an edge and sometimes that’s all you need. Best of luck!
-
Almost everything is done on a freelance basis, so it's very random. Sign up for the mailing list on the Contact page of this site for an alert. You will get an email blast the night before and know to turn on notifications for the following day.
-
I’ve done that a few times in the past and while it definitely makes things easier for folks in different situations, it’s A Ton More Legwork on my part and as of this writing, I simply don’t have the time for that except on special occasions.

If an item in your cart has quickly sold out upon release, it was a high-demand item. Unfortunately, adding an item to your cart does not guarantee that this product is being held for you, and it can still sell out before you complete your purchase as all items in the inventory are up for grabs until full checkout is complete and you have a receipt + order number to refer to.
-
Squarespace does not have this functionality. But even if it did, I would not use it as that would incentivize a race to the cart instead of to checkout. I’ve seen buyers abuse this system by loading items into carts and ‘hoarding’ to delay the sale of items. It’s one problem or the other, and I’d rather avoid cart-hoarding than having an item sell out too quickly.
-
Unfortunately, it’s not often possible to identify a buyer from their eBay handle as flippers tend to use aliases and alternate addresses. I cannot risk cancelling the order of a legitimate buyer from one who wants to insta-flip (purchasing with the sole intent to instantly sell it for profit before the purchase is even in-hand) an item unless I am 100% sure that that person is doing this. Sometimes I am able to identify flippers and when that happens, I do cancel their order(s). That item is then archived for future sales like Black Friday or live/booth events.
-
Look. I sell art prints and posters and some of them (due to the artwork, the artist, or a combination of both) can be in extremely high demand and their drop/sale hotly-anticipated. I typically have between 100-200 prints to sell during a drop. If just going by Instagram, I have 17,500 people in my audience. If just 1% of them is interested in buying something of mine, it’s going to sell quickly. Every drop is different, sometimes things go fast, sometimes they don’t sell out at all.
I’m not discounting that some folks do use bots to automate the buying process and insta-flip their purchase, but I have no way of knowing who that is. It isn’t everyone, and I’m not a fan of being blamed or guilted over what I cannot control. I do what I can to mitigate insta-flipping while keeping my work accessible to everyone but it’s just a thing that happens sometimes. Also, unless you see the entire run of prints put up for sale immediately, most (if not near all) of the prints are going to folks who are fans that are buying the right way for the right reasons (to appreciate the work). I understand the frustration but please try to be understanding of the circumstances. -
Generally no. Many of these pieces are gig posters which were commissioned by clients and permitted only in the limited format of their original run. Check the aftermarket: Expressobeans, eBay, Rock Poster Frame, etc.
Other Inquiries
-
Occasionally as my interest and availability allow. Please contact to inquire + reserve availability.
-
As a general rule, I’m not permitted to disclose which gigs I’m making artwork for as this goes against my agreements with bands who prefer to keep this a secret until the day of the event (this applies to pretty much all of the bands I work with). I get asked this often and it always puts me in an awkward position because I don’t want to be rude, but I also cannot say without breaking the trust of my clients. Discussing and speculating amongst other fans is great and encouraged and I try to be as informative and open online as I can, but I’d greatly prefer it if folks didn’t push my boundaries by asking me about this. There’s really no need to ruin the surprise, as you’ll find out sooner or later anyway!
-
No. Tattooing is a craft and an art form unto itself, so I feel that requests like this are best sent to artists that specialize in the field.
-
Nearly all of my prints are in small batches of limited editions, so mostly no. However, if you’re interested in stocking an Open Edition print, please get in touch!
-
No. Most of the illustrations I do are for bands that only permit the design to exist as a limited poster for which I was commissioned. Anything I have publicly available for purchase can be found in the Shop section of this website.
-
I don't very often but if you are set upon purchasing a specific original, you may email me to inquire on its availability.
-
"Open Edition," prints are designs which are meant to be reprinted. They are signed and numbered by me, but are not "limited edition," so more folks can purchase them at affordable prices.
